Why Support Casa Segura?
Public funding for HIV/AIDS prevention falls short of the total we need to serve the at-risk
Supporting Casa Segura
"When I donate to Casa Segura, I know I'm doing what I can to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and Hep C in my own community."
—Casa Segura Supporter
community in Oakland and throughout Alameda County. Casa Segura relies on the support of non-governmental organizations, private foundations and individuals to fill the gap.
Grants and private donations enable us to reduce harm when abstinence is not an option. Our community outreach focuses on the day-to-day needs of people who lack traditional support networks and are underserved by public agencies at a critical point in their lives.
In addition to funding from the Alameda County Office of AIDS and the California Office of AIDS, we are grateful for the support of the following foundations: The Comer Foundation, the Horizons Foundation, Northern California Grantmakers, and the Syringe Access Fund (a collaboration of the Levi Strauss Foundation, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Irene Diamond Fund, the National AIDS Fund, and the Tides Foundation).
With your help, we can continue to provide the stable, reliable and high-quality programs and services that at-risk members of our community deserve.
